XIII Encuentro de Hermandades y Cofradías del Rosario de Andalucía Imprimir Email

20110830_logotipo_rosario_encuentroEl Encuentro tendrá lugar el próximo 28 de enero en Granada y se enmarca dentro de los actos de clausura del Año Jubilar decretado por el Santo Padre Benedicto XVI, con motivo del cincuentenario de la Coronación Canónica de la Copatrona de Granada.

Poco a poco la se van ultimando los detalles del Encuentro de Hermandades y Cofradías del Rosario de Andalucía que se celebrará en Granada el 28 de enero de 2012 organizado por la Muy Antigua, Pontificia, Real e Ilustre Archicofradía de Ntra. Sra. del Rosario Coronada. El encuentro se encuadra dentro de los actos de clausura del Año Jubilar decretado por SS. Benedicto XVI, con motivo del cincuentenario de la Coronación Canónica de la Copatrona de Granada, conocida también como Virgen de Lepanto por su intervención en dicha batalla.

El logotipo para el evento ha sido creado por el roteño afincado en Sevilla José Antonio González Jiménez que a través de una obra elegante ha querido trasmitir de forma sencilla este encuentro. En primer lugar destaca la granada, símbolo de esta ciudad, una de las que mas trascendencia a tenido en la historia de España, la granada se cruza con dos hojas verdes formando la bandera la ciudad.

Tras la granada aparece la silueta de la copatrona de la ciudad, Ntra. Sra. del Rosario Coronada, imagen del S. XVI que tras participar en la batalla de Lepanto fue recubierta de plata, cuya Archicofradía fundada en 1492, siendo la primera Cofradía del Rosario que se funda en Andalucía, es la anfitriona de este encuentro. Enmarcando a la imagen aparece la fachada de la Iglesia de Santo Domingo, sede de la Archicofradía.

A la izquierda de la imagen aparece una estrella con el escudo de la Orden de Predicadores, Dominicos, orden encargada de la propagación del Santo Rosario, y que rige la sede canónica y la propia Archicofradía de Granada. Asimismo la estrella se relaciona con el milagro efectuado por esta venerada imagen en 1679 cuando salvó a la ciudad de una epidemia; asimismo la estrella es atributo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, fundador del Santo Rosario, por la luz que emanaba de su rostro.
